I am pleased to endorse Nadia Lockyer for Supervisor. I have known Nadia and her family all of her life. Ever since her days as a young student leader, to now as a county manager, I have seen how she rallies and inspires others to work for change.
Nadia Lockyer comes from a family that has a legacy of public service and deep devotion to advancing the cause of civil rights, and I am proud that Nadia is continuing her family’s work of helping others. Nadia Lockyer will bring her energy, determination, and fresh perspective to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors when she is elected to represent the people of District 2.

I am very proud to support Nadia Lockyer for Supervisor. She is a great new voice for our community. As a working mom who has also been an adult caregiver, Nadia knows about and deals with the same problems confronting all our families today.
Nadia is already working hard and well for Alameda County as the Executive Director of the county's Family Justice Center. Her experience and achievements in that job demonstrate the commitment, energy and know-how we all want in our County Supervisor. She's got what it takes to make certain southern Alameda County gets a bigger, fairer share of the county resources we need for our own communities.
